Fun Facts About Lizards and the 500 Teeth Dinosaur Meme

Lizards are often thought to be slimy, scaly creatures that live in the jungle. They are actually one of the most successful animals on Earth, living on every continent except Antarctica. These little reptiles have a wide range of habitats, from deserts to rainforests and even suburban backyards! Still, not many people know how many teeth a lizard has or what they eat. Here are some fun facts about lizards and the 500 teeth dinosaur meme.

Lizards are everywhere

Lizards are one of the most successful animals on the planet and can be found on every continent except Antarctica. These little reptiles have a wide range of habitats, from deserts to rainforests and even suburban backyards!

What do lizards eat?

Lizards eat a wide range of food. They can eat insects, plants, and even small rodents. Some species of lizards are cannibalistic, meaning they’ll eat other lizards! But most lizards will happily munch away on bugs and plants.

How many teeth do they have?

Lizards have teeth that come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and positions in their mouth. Some have rows of teeth, others have teeth only at the front and others are toothless.

Most of them have between 24 and 36 teeth in their jaws, but some species can have over 100! You can tell how many teeth an animal has by looking at its skull.

The 500 Teeth Dinosaur Meme

It’s not just lizards that have a lot of teeth. The 500 teeth dinosaur meme is a still of the popular ‘Dilophosaurus’ from Jurassic Park in which its large, sharp teeth can be seen very clearly. This is because it has around 500-700 teeth – not as many as some snakes which can have over 1,000 teeth, but quite a lot more than humans who have around 32.

The 500 Teeth Dinosaur Meme is often used to scare people away from things they fear like spiders or looking at pictures of worst sunburns. What do you think? Is this meme effective at scaring people away or do you brush it off?
